Dear all members,

Since this website might be a huge photo database for the TSA in the near future, please keep in mind that the smaller photo file, the faster downloading time.
It is a good idea to keep the longest side of your photo to be 800 pixels.
After resizing, you may need to sharpen the photo to make it a little bit more clear.
Some computer editing programs, like PhotoShop, have excellent ability to do this job. You may apply "Unsharp Mask" instead of just simply sharpen since you will be able to fine tune the level of sharpness. Then use the option "save for web" in which you can set the quality of Jpeg file (also size). Limiting the size of your photo to be around 150 kb is a good practice. You should be then good to go.

Also, DO NOT be discouraged if you have only a compact camera. A great shot normally comes when you are out there at the right moment. Lighting and composing are other indispensable ingredients for a good picture.

Enjoy shooting !

Eakasit.
